Spa operators and managers now have access to a team development tool designed to boost revenue and improve the spa experience for every guest.

Spa Sessions - created by industry professionals Naomi Gregory and Donna Wells - is a new web based training programme that teaches staff to think and act proactively towards the development of your business.

It takes a progressive training approach, delivering one key learning per day and prompting teams to explore the idea for insights and initiatives that can help to improve their performance. This format encourages the team to take ownership of ideas, which means they are more likely to apply them for the benefit of the business.

Delivered daily in 15-minute 'Sessions', it aims to motivate teams to support management goals and lead to a collective commitment to identify and achieve best business practices. The daily topics deal with both front-of-house and back-of-house issues to cultivate customer care by developing the awareness, energy and commitment of team members, while simultaneously encouraging responsibility for financial goals.

Spa Sessions can be purchased as a 12-month subscription, priced at just over US$2 a day. Each week, seven different 'Sessions' are uploaded to the members' section of the website, ready for subscribers to download and deliver.
